Imperial Stout Blend - One aged 19 months in St. Augustine bourbon barrels, the other 16 months in Willet Distillery bourbon barrels - Collaboration with Third Moon Brewing. It wouldn't be a Halloween release without a collaboration with our friends at Third Moon Brewing! This Black Rain (Pluie Noire) originated from a night when we shared so much stout that it rained black the next day! This blend, born from our two mushy brains, resulted in this concoction: two barrels of stouts meeting. The first aged 19 months in St. Augustine bourbon barrels, the other 16 months in Willet Distillery bourbon barrels. Surprisingly smooth despite its high alcohol content, it offers notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and a hint of fig from the bourbon. It's sweet yet dry, rich and complex at the same time, but above all, it reflects the love our two breweries have for each other! CHEERS!
