Inspired by the Northern Goshawk Imperial Stout they released together in the winter of 2020, this version takes everything up a notch, featuring ridiculous additions of chopped hazelnuts, Trillium Blend Barrington Coffee, and Madagascar vanilla, resulting in an intensely rich stout built for holiday celebration.
Pouring a deep brown with a caramel-tinged head, Double Goshawk immediately offers a profoundly nutty aroma. Notes of dark chocolate, freshly roasted coffee, molasses, and brown sugar fill the senses. A full, creamy body with medium sweetness is balanced by a subtle roast and a touch of warming alcohol, making each sip supremely satisfying and complex.
