Black Maple features a diverse grist of barley, wheat, chocolate malt, caramel malt, and a pinch of smoked malt. Locally harvested maple syrup was added in the boil kettle before aging in bourbon barrels. A long time brewery favorite! This batch aged in bourbon barrels for 24 months and was conditioned on an extra addition of local maple syrup post barrels.
